The Farmington Hills Police Benevolent Association (FHPBA) was founded in 1994 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit with 100% of all funds provided to support the families of fallen public safety people. Since its inception, the association has provided funds to help families with health, educational and financial needs, not only, in Farmington Hills, but also, public safety families throughout Southeast Michigan. The association has provided support for officers’ families in West Bloomfield, Livonia, Franklin, Beverly Hills, the Detroit Police Department, Michigan State Police, D.E.A, F.B.I., the Detroit Metro Airport Police, the Westland Fire Department and the list goes on.

The association’s Annual Golf Classic is the primary fundraiser. This event brings in funds to enable the members of the association to continue to assist those in need, including widows, widowers, and dependent families of deceased Police Officers, Firefighters and Public Safety Officers in Farmington Hills, Farmington and Franklin. Contributions are tax deductible under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Service code, as may be allowed by law.
